Flower Girl Veils and Headpieces
The bride is not the only one who can wear a veil at the wedding. Many flower girls over the years have been wearing veils and various headpieces as they waltz down the isle right before the bride.
There are many different options for flower girls and junior bridesmaids for hair accessories. For younger flower girls, you may want a beautiful rhinestone or crystal tiara accompanied with a shoulder to waist-length veil. This look can be worn for formal weddings but is not uncommon even for informal occasions as well. Perhaps you may want your little one to have one silk bow in the back of an updo or attached to a veil underneath. There are many different pearl and jewelry designs that compliment tiaras like pearls and rhinestone necklaces.
For older flower girls and junior bridesmaids, there are various bunwrap styles with pearls and silk flowers for an updo look. Some come with attached veil in back or with flowing spiral ribbons with pearl beads.
Flower girls can also have fresh flowers to decorate their hair or veil and rose petals can be put in baskets for tossing.
Most flower girl veils and headpieces can be purchased in choices of white or ivory, and some in other shades. Colors should reflect what the bride will be wearing and veil colors should match as well. Below are some examples of flower girl headpieces:
