Tips For Your Wedding Reception
Once you have secured all the necessities for your wedding ceremony, you can now start planning for your wedding reception. Your reception is where you can finally rest and enjoy your time with family and friends sharing your special day.
If your reception and ceremony do not take place in the same location, then you will need to consider looking into caterers. Many hotels and restaurants provide their own catering, but some wedding venues do not. When trying to decide on a caterer, you may want to arrange a time you can sample some of their best dishes to help you decide, and if they will be coming equipped with all the cookware in case your venue does not provide them.
Hopefully your venue will provide chairs, tables, napkins, tablecloths and silverware. If not you may have to provide them yourselves. Most wedding supplies can be rented from reputable wedding supply warehouses and most will deliver to your location.
Wedding music is what gets the party going and DJ's or local bands can really get the ball rolling. Upon meeting with your DJ or band, you may want to get CD's or listen to samples of their work. Some have samples on their websites you can listen to.
Last, but not least, the wedding cake. Some reception locations provide cakes, but there are many bakeries you can visit in your area to taste samples and have pictures of their work to help you decide.
